Recycle
Plastic parts are granulated and melted down to be used again. All metal parts are separated into the metal groups i.e. Copper, Aluminium, and Steel etc these are then smelted down and reused.
Every IT item is 100% recycled none of the IT products collected and Destroyed by IFS go to Landfill, this helps to sustain a better future for us all and ensures maximum usage of the otherwise useless products.
As part of the WEEE Directorate all companies in the UK must adhere to the rules and regulations set out by the directorate which means all IT items must be disposed of in the correct manner by a registered IT waste management company. Some IT items are classified as Hazardous waste and the consequences of this equipment not being handled by a registered waste management company such as IFS can be serious.
